Ibrance 125 mg – 21 Capsules ( pabociclib 125 mg )

Ibrance is used to treat advanced or metastatic breast cancer, whether hormone receptor-positive or HER2-negative, in combination with:An aromatase inhibitor as initial hormone therapy for postmenopausal women, orFulvestrant for patients with disease progression following hormone therapy.

Mechanism of Action:
Palbeciclib is a CDK4/6 inhibitor. It works by blocking proteins in cancer cells that promote cell division, helping slow or stop tumor growth.

Directions:

Take once daily for 21 consecutive days, followed by 7 days off (28-day cycle).

Preferably with food.

Swallow the capsules whole – do not crush or open them.

Common side effects:

Neutropenia (low white blood cell count)

Fatigue

Nausea

Diarrhea

Infections

Hair loss

Warnings and precautions:

Monitor complete blood counts before and during treatment.

May cause fetal harm – not recommended during pregnancy.

Use effective contraception during and after treatment.

Report any infections, fever, or abnormal bleeding to your doctor.
