Inlyta (axitinib) is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) approved for the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer). It works by blocking signals that help cancer cells grow and form new blood vessels, thereby slowing tumor progression.

Key Components:

• Axitinib: 5mg per film-coated tablet.

FDA-Approved Indications:

• Advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) after failure of one prior systemic therapy (as monotherapy).
• First-line treatment of advanced RCC in combination with avelumab or pembrolizumab.

Mechanism of Action:

• Inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR-1, 2, 3).
